Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information ACE Coach App collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain English and kept it as short as we sensibly can. If anything is unclear, email us at support@acecoachapp.com.

What we collect

When you use ACE Coach App we collect the following:

• Account information — your name (optional), email address, and password (stored securely and never in plain text).
• Usage information — basic events such as sign-ins, conversations started, messages sent, and errors. This helps us keep the service reliable and understand how it is used.
• Conversation content — the prompts you send and the responses ACE returns. These are stored so you can access your past conversations and so we can maintain and improve the service.
• Billing information — plan, purchases, and message allowance. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never stored on our servers.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe. Stripe receives your card details directly — ACE Coach App never sees or stores them. Please read Stripe's own privacy notice for how they handle payment data.

How we use your conversations

Conversation content is used to:

• deliver the service — showing your history back to you
• investigate errors and improve reliability
• improve response quality over time

Internal admin reporting uses aggregated activity (message counts, broad category tags, thread IDs) rather than duplicating the full text of sensitive prompts. Please avoid sharing more personal information about children, parents, or third parties than the situation genuinely requires — a general description is usually enough for ACE to help.

Who we share data with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run ACE Coach App:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and secure storage
• Stripe — payments and subscription management
• Lovable AI Gateway — AI model access to generate coaching responses
• Email delivery — transactional emails (sign-up confirmation, password reset, receipts)

We do not sell your data. We do not share it for advertising.

Data retention

Account and conversation data is kept while your account is active. If you cancel, your past conversations remain available in read-only form for a reasonable period so you can refer back to them. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data within a reasonable timeframe, except where we are required to keep records (for example billing records for tax purposes).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it, and to object to certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email us at support@acecoachapp.com.

What ACE is not

ACE Coach App is a coaching support tool. It is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or a safeguarding emergency service. If a situation involves welfare concerns, safeguarding issues, self-harm, or risk of harm, please follow your club, school, or governing body procedures and contact qualified professionals or emergency services.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes we will let you know inside the app or by email.
